Ducting adds important features to the surroundings like
• Covers Existing Skirting
• Never Needs Painting
• Adds Character To Any Room
• 2 Sizes Available
• Can Hide Cables
• Supplied in varies lengths you can transform a room with some basic DIY skills.
• The skirting is available in two sizes:
• Our 120mm system will cover existing skirting boards up to 92mm high (or less plus cables) and between 16 and 30mm thick.
• Our 170mm system will cover existing skirting boards up to 142mm high (or less plus cables) and between 16 and 30mm thick.
• To fit, gun adhesive onto the back of the main ogee skirting profile and push over existing board. Internal and external corner covers are available so there is no need to mitre the main board, however you will need to notch one of the boards where they meet in a corner (as picture).
• Once all of the main boards are in place, fit the corner and joint covers with double sided tape provided.
• The ogee top moulding should then be stuck onto the top of the main skirting board, again using the double sided tape supplied. This top moulding will cover any gap between the skirting and the wall and will complete the skirting board detail. You will need to mitre the ogee quadrant and file or cut the bottom of the quadrant where it runs over the corners and joints - our mitre shears are ideal for this job. Finally fill any gap between the quadrant and the wall if necessary with our decorators caulk. You can also use the caulk to seal any imperfect mitres in the quadrant although a smear of white silicone (available at an extra cost) would be better.
